Tim Sells - Bass Vocals
Tim started playing the piano and singing around 5 years old.
Traveled throughout the southeastern United States in 1975 w/ the Central
Wesleyan College choir - Performed at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida.
Traveled throughout the southwest United States in 1976 w/ the Azusa Pacific
College Male Chorale - Performed at Disneyland - Recorded an album with
the Chorale.
Tim has sang with numerous quartets throughout the southeast, along with solo work with
Church’s and assemblies.
His Musical Mentors were two of the biggest influences in Elvis Presley's life. J.D. Sumner, bass singer for the Blackwood Bros., and later with the Stamps Quartet as back up vocalists. J.D. was known as the "lowest bass singer in the world," and he would willingly give any aspiring singer the advice and guidance they needed. Secondly, the "Big Chief," Jim Wetherington, bass singer for the Statesmen Quartet. "Big Chief" was often given the credit for Elvis' movements during his performances, as Elvis would emulate the rhythmic movements that he had seen "Chief" do when performing.
I've traveled to many venues, met thousands of people, made untold friends and love every minute I am on that stage with a man I consider the personification of Elvis Presley, and the greatest group of vocalists and musicians I've had the privilege of being a part of.
